Fished with no results except for photos, so here is the male heron who came down to dine on a small bass that a passing fisherman threw on shore.

Tomorrow it will hit 80 degrees – I can almost handle wearing a t-shirt if the sun is going to shine down on me , there’s nothing like our Florida sun, I’ll take those beams beating down with heat any day rather than the cold! Come on sun and wrap those beams and the vernal equinox around me – gimme shelter….

I’m getting all kinds of infrequent bird visitors here lately. In addition to the “regulars,” there’ve been bluebirds, yellow-rumped warblers & even a blue grosbeak today! (I wasn’t expecting THEM for about a month yet.)
