Baby sandhill crane 12 days old and thriving

Finally, my neighbor called and said the cranes were visiting her. I drove over and there they were. The baby looks so big to me.
I took about 70 photos of the shy bird. The parents feed it well.
while I watched, it ate 5 worms!

They still have not come to visit me, though the father crane
will fly in and eat seed from the stump and then fly back to the family.
Enjoy the family, I sure do!
